R. J. Kuo received the Ph.D. degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA, USA in 1994. Currently, he is the Distinguished Professor in the Department of Industrial Management at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taiwan. He has published more than 130 papers in international journals including Neural Networks, Information Sciences and Decision Support Systems. His research interests include architecture issues of computational intelligence and their applications to electronic business, intelligent manufacturing, and supply chain management.
